LITCHFIELD, IL (April 15, 2005) — Prime Line, a leading supplier of engine, mower deck, drive parts and accessories for the worldwide lawn and garden equipment industry, has announced two promotions and
one new addition to its management team.
With more than two decades of experience in the lawn and garden industry — including ten years as an owner/operator — Mike Whitehead has been promoted to the post of assistant product manager.
In his new role, Whitehead will have expanded management responsibility for Prime Line customers on all
power equipment products.
Among Whitehead’s responsibilities will be researching new product applications and helping to grow the company’s product line. He has already demonstrated leadership and proficiency in these areas during his two years at Prime Line where he served as product analyst.
Working closely with Whitehead will be Donald (Nick) Nicholas, who was recently promoted to the position of product analyst after serving as a Prime Line technical services representative for two years. Nicholas’ positive relationships with dealers nationwide, and more than 15 years of diverse technical experience with power equipment products, contributed to his success and rapid promotion to this important management position. Nicholas’ technical background also includes more than eight years as a junior college instructor specializing in small engine repair.
To further bolster its winning team, Prime Line also recently hired Don Lang as a technical services representative. Lang brings with him to the position a solid reputation as a detail-oriented professional with a wealth of related technical experience. After retiring from the U.S. military, Lang spent a number of years repairing and rebuilding lawn and garden products along with other power equipment. This invaluable
hands-on experience will certainly help Lang relate to customers and their challenges as he provides them
with expert technical assistance. In addition to his technical experience with lawn and garden power products, Lang is an accomplished woodworker.
